What I Bought & Wanted In November

ARQ Underwear review

What I Bought

Arq Underwear: Am I an underwear influencer now? Lol >.< After seeing the new fern color (a gorgeous deep green) I finally pulled the trigger and purchased these much-talked about (or rather much insta-ed) underwear set (I got the bra and high-waisted undies). Also, got a tank for Emi because who doesn’t want to match their kids underwear too?

Beklina Platform Slides: Erica posted a flash sale of these in late October (after I had already posted the What I Bought in October post) so here they are in November. I’ve been a long time admirer of Beklina shoes and am so happy I got them at a really decent price!

Hill House Home Nesli Nap Dress: This was a total impulse purchase (I blame pre-election anxiety). And I don’t usually buy myself a holiday dress but 2020 has been a tough year and I wanted something festive to look forward to wearing for the holidays. And what better holiday dress for a pandemic than a nap dress? I plan to wear this both inside and outside the home. (If you’re interested, here’s a $20 off referral link-I only got 10% off so this is a much better promo code). P.S. They are also currently having a 20% off sale.

Quince Turkish Spa Bath Towel Bundle: I got this with credit (so thank you to everyone who purchased through my $10 off referral link to Quince!), and I feel so lucky because these towels are suuuuper nice. I normally wouldn’t have purchased new towels since I have an older hydrocotton set from Pottery Barn (that were way more expensive). But since I was setting up my temporary home in Hawaii, I needed some towels and these Quince ones are just as good (or dare I say even better?!) than the PB ones.

“Wear a damn mask” mask: I got tired of seeing people not wearing masks so I just purchased this mask off of Etsy. Now I can stare at the anti-maskers without having to say anything lol. Also added this to this year’s gift guide since I think it would make a great stocking stuffer!

The Bettison Peep Toe from Wilder shoes: This was a total early Black Friday Sale impulse purchase (🤦🏻‍♀️ already) but I was totally influenced by Christina who wears her Wilder shoes all the time. And when I saw them for $230 off it was kinda like a no-brainer to try this ethical shoe brand.

What I Want

I haven’t had this section for awhile on these monthly posts because I either buy what I want right away and/or what I want has been few and far between (for some past months anyway). But of course with the holiday season, the wants are piling up and instead of just outright buying everything, I’m going to go back to listing it here and thinking about it.

Kaneko Dress from Two Days Off: I love my Haruko dress so much and I really admire Gina too (the founder of Two Days Off), so I’ve been looking at their Kaneko dress for quite some time. I might just buy it this time around since it’s currently 20% off (and for you guys you can stack my $15 off referral link here—I would also get $15 off and at that point I would most definitely just go for it lol, so thanks for supporting/enabling 😁).

Ichi Antiquities Linen Indigo Dress in Blue Gingham: Ahhh I want this dress so much but can’t justify the expense right now. I’m still loving my pink Ichi Antiquities linen dress and definitely plan to winterize it (or not for Hawaii actually), but this blue one is also super dreamy 🥰 {Actually AtLand is having a 20% off sale on all their items, including this dress, with the code THANKYOU until 11/30. It would come out to a $69 savings. I’m very tempted to splurge so we’ll see if I end up caving or not lol.}

Zou Xou Eugenia Flats: I have never purchased mary jane shoes before but these in pistachio are calling my name. But I’m going to hold off for now since I’ve already purchased two new shoes this month (and really, where am I going to be wearing all these new shoes to?).

Aliya Wanek Olive Ami Sweatshirt: The olive color is so dreamy and even though I don’t need a new sweatshirt, I’m curious to see how the hemp/cotton blend fabric is like. Plus I don’t have any colorful sweatshirts so this would totally be filling a gap in my closet amirite. And I’d be supporting a fellow Bay Area WOC (lol like the ways I’m trying to justify it here)? Well they’re all sold out for now but I can’t wait for their restock!
