I put together my first gift guide ever at the end of last year and some of you guys found it useful (and said some really nice things about it so thank you!). So I decided to do it again this year because it’s been a whole ‘nother year where I’ve reviewed a lot of new things. Of course this year is different than most so if gift shopping isn’t in your budget, please feel free to skip this post. Also just like last year, these are all products I’ve tried and stand by!
Safety Razor: So this was on my gift guide from last year as well as my “top 10 favorite things I’ve blogged about” list two years in a row. Can you tell I’m a huge fan and want everyone to make the switch? It really is that easy and you can read about how to use a safety razor here. The Good Fill: I think zero waste products are some of the best items to gift because the holidays are wasteful enough as it is. But think if you can help someone make the switch to something zero waste, then you’re actually helping to reduce waste during the holidays (and hopefully setting them on a less-waste path in general). Last year I had the Marley Monsters cotton facial rounds on my list (which I still think are 100% a great gift), but to change it up this year I added the Good Fill to this gift guide. I love this Nashville refill brand because not only do their products come in chic bottles (and you can choose between glass or aluminum, or just refill your own by using their mail-back plastic pouches) but I think their actual products are really pretty great as well. You can’t go wrong with whatever you choose to gift from the Good Fill!
Quince Crossbody: So this is a gift that I gave to my friends this year. These crossbody bags are really well made from high quality leather at a price point that isn’t ridiculous. These bags definitely look and feel more expensive than they are. Plus the crossbody size is the perfect size to fit all your essentials. It’s my favorite easy errands purse and my friends have said they love theirs already too (I gave it to them early knowing I wouldn’t see them during the holidays)! Okaysou Air Filter: Like last year, I think the gift of clean air is a pretty great idea (especially those who live in areas prone to wildfire seasons). This year I’m putting this Okaysou one on the list because it has an extra cold catalyst filter that my other air purifiers don’t have. Jennifer Fisher Jewelry Salts: Last year I had my favorite truffle salt from Etsy on the list, so this year I thought I’d change it up with some salts I purchased for myself during the holidays last year. Rellery Jewelry: Maybe this brand has a special place in my heart because they were my first sponsored post, but I really do think their jewelry makes a great gift! Their pieces are high-quality and ethically made in the USA. Yet their prices aren’t crazy (it’s a really great value). And I love that they make custom pieces. Plus who doesn’t like a little bling for the holidays? It goes so well with loungewear too lol.
And as I mentioned last year some of the best gifts are experiences and not things (though it is harder to share experiences together during a pandemic). As for us I’m not sure what we’re doing yet in terms of gifts but we’re just grateful to be back in our hometown so that we can spend it (socially distanced) with family (and luckily Hawaii is warm enough that we can see each other outdoors). No matter the place and with whom you spend it with I hope you are all able to make it a special one and feel some joy this holiday season!
