I really love the U Beauty Resurfacing Compound (I’ve repurchased it 4 times and counting). You can read why I love it so much in my U Beauty Resurfacing Compound review. So I had fairly high expectations for the next product that U Beauty produced, their Super Smart Hydrator. And I really wanted to like it (and believe me I did because it’s more affordable than my current favorite moisturizer, the Augustinus Bader Rich Cream). But unfortunately it didn’t work out for me at all.
The U Beauty SSH is made with 5 types of hyaluronic acid and a SIREN capsule system that allows the hyaluronic acid to penetrate the skin. However when I try to click the actual link for the ingredients it doesn’t work.
The texture of SSH is kind of tacky so it’s a tad tricky to smooth it on (a patting motion works best). And there’s a tad smell to it (but nothing major, I’m just a bit sensitive to smells). But for me the deal breaker was it seemed to aggravate my skin and broke me out. In the end, I decided to give it to my mom and we’ll see if she ends up using it.
Anyway I know everyone’s skin is different so this might work for you guys. But for me, I’m going to stick with my favorite AB Rich Cream 🤷🏻♀️
