Mansur Gavriel Review: The Mini Ocean Tote

Well this review is about 4 months late, but better late than never I suppose. I hope no one was waiting for this since I talked about this Mansur Gavriel Mini Ocean Tote back in September. I purchased it from the RealReal, which I find to have a pretty good selection of MG bags (current selection here). But to be completely honest, I’m in a new phase in my life where small bags don’t really cut it anymore. I’m firmly in mom-bag territory now and that means I usually carry a tote. But since I bought the bag, I might as well review it before I pass it on to another home (probably one with no kids or older kids because this bag doesn’t hold much lol).

If you’re looking for a cute bag to hold just your essentials, the mini ocean tote is a lovely option. It can be held by the short handle or worn cross body with it’s adjustable shoulder strap. Inside is just one big compartment and it closes with a magnetic closure at the top (which if you overstuff your bag won’t shut properly).

I really love the shape of this bag and the leather quality is awesome (it’s calf-skin leather) and doesn’t show any scratches. But unfortunately this bag just doesn’t work for my lifestyle anymore. I’ll briefly list this on my closet sale page here, but I’ll sell it on ebay or the RealReal if there are no takers.
