I rarely say that something is missing from my closet. Mostly because I have everything I want and need, but also because by saying something is 'missing' you're implying that you need to buy something (and when is an item of clothing a true need?). But well, after getting some outfit inspiration from Pinterest I decided I was missing a good white collared button down from my closet. Luckily I was able to find a great one from Grana (I've tried Everlane's button down shirts before but haven't found one that I truly liked--mostly due to their modern (odd?) cuts and silhouettes).
This oxford shirt from Grana is everything I was looking for. The Italian Oxford cloth is super thick and feels substantial (especially when compared to cotton poplin). The quality of this shirt is excellent and the shirt is completely opaque. I ordered it in a small (I'm 5'4" & size 4) and it fit perfectly. I can't wait to incorporate this new staple into my closet and try out some outfit ideas!

P.P.S. Actually I know why I've never had a white button down in my closet before. It's because I hate to iron. But recently I fortuitously purchased this travel steamer and I love it! Getting out wrinkles is as easy as boiling some water, lol. I never knew I was missing a travel steamer in my life but man I really needed one {by the way those pictures above were taken before the travel steamer came into my life.}
