Grana Merino Rib Cardigan Review

Hi guys, happy Monday and hope the weekend has relieved some of that post-election stress but if you feel like it might be post-election stress disorder, you're not alone).  It feels a bit weird for me to keep posting about clothes and such comparatively minor things but as they say, keep calm and carry on, so carry on I shall.  Anyway let's get to this awesome merino wool cardigan from Grana.

First off I got this in a size small and it fits perfectly.  I usually go with a medium for Grana tees but have found with sweaters and other outerwear, a small fits me better.  Also for reference I'm 5'4" and this cardigan hits me right under the butt, which I think is the perfect length for a longish cardigan (it's better when it doesn't end right at your widest point, ie your hips).

I wasn't really expecting to like this cardigan because I've had a merino wool sweater before which was on the thicker, scratchier side.  But Grana's merino wool is completely different.  It's very smooth and on the thinner side.  And it's not scratchy at all.  If you're looking for something thick to keep you warm this winter, this is not it.  This is the perfect lightweight cardigan for Southern California autumns and slightly chilly office spaces.

The cardigan is quite simple but I love the ribbed texture and the shawl-like collar.  And it feels much more luxurious than it's $69 price tag (seriously, like the ribbed details at the shoulder, which make it fit just right without being overly baggy is awesome).  If you want to try it out for yourself, this referral link gets you 10% off your first purchase.  And you can find all my other Grana reviews here.
